2024 WDAGA High Point Virtual Show Awards Program
Eligibility
- The rider must be a WDAA and WDAGA member. Judges must be USEF licensed WD “r” or “R” judges. All awards will be based on a Horse/Rider combination meeting eligibility requirements. Horse/Rider Combination for levels Intro – Level 5 must receive 8 scores from two different judges. In Freestyle/Costume, you need a minimum of 1 score.
- A Horse/Rider combination can choose from two consecutive levels per show season. For example, you can choose Intro and Basic but not Intro and Level 1.
- Awards will be presented in the following categories: Virtual Online Open, Virtual Online Adult Amateur, and Virtual Online Junior/Youth rider.
- Each score can only be used one time. A score cannot be used for multiple categories. For example, if you show at a show that does not separate categories and you have signed up for Amateur and Open year-end awards, you will need to declare which category you want that score to go towards. Each test score can only be used one time. A score cannot be used in multiple categories.
- WDAGA Virtual Online Awards are based on percentage scores and not placings in class. Award results will be tabulated by taking the average of the top 8 scores for the year, Intro through Level 5.
- The Online Virtual Awards year will run from December 1st, 2023 to November 30th, 2024. You can enter the High Point Virtual Program anytime prior to November 30th, 2024, BUT ONLY TESTS RIDDEN AFTER YOU REGISTER AND PAY TO BE IN THE PROGRAM WILL COUNT TOWARD YEAR-END CALCULATIONS.
- EXCEPTION: You can submit scores earned in qualifying shows from December 2023 as long as you were a WDAGA Member in good standing.
- The virtual online show does not have to originate in Georgia.
- Participants will turn in their top 8 scores from at least 2 different judges AFTER THEIR FINAL SHOW OF THE 2024 HIGH POINT AWARDS YEAR but prior to November, 15th, 2024. Please send this information to WDAGA High Point Chairperson Zoey Lane via email to: Zoeylane1023@gmail.com
