2024 Medal Program
The Rider Medal Program is open to all Western Dressage Association of Georgia members in good standing.
To Participate: Must be a current WDAGA member and have been a member when the scores were earned. Ride at WDAA-recognized shows. Register and include copies of the face sheet of the written test from the judge with the score, the date and location of the ride, the judge’s signature and the WDAA recognized show number.
- Rider must be a current WDAGA and WDAA member at the time of medal submission and at the time scores were earned.
- All scores submitted must be from WDAA judges, from WDAA-recognized shows (can be from schooling shows, as long as they are WDAA-recognized)
- Medals may be earned out of turn.
- Medals may be earned on multiple horses.
- All scores submitted must be 65% or higher with 1 test from each test level from test 3 or 4.
- Scores for each medal level must be from WDAA judge(s). At least 3 judges per medal (3 for Bronze, 3 for Silver, 3 for Gold, 3 for Platinum)
- Scores from online shows will not be counted.
- Application and submission can be filed online or by mail.
- Submit application, fee of $50 and score sheets at one time.
- Submit one application and fee per medal level.
- Apply and submit all your qualifying score sheets, at one time, after you have met all the requirements for each level
- There is no “deadline” for how long it takes to earn a medal. You may go at your own pace and submit past scores from January 1st, 2022 forward.
- Medals will be awarded during annual membership meeting and awards banquet
- Yearly deadline to submit scores for medals to be awarded by the banquet is November 1st (so we can be sure we can receive the medal in time for the banquet)
Medal Levels
- BRONZE MEDAL: 3 scores from Intro Level along with 3 scores from Basic OR 6 scores total from Basic Level
- SILVER MEDAL: 3 scores from Level 1 along with 3 scores from Level 2
- GOLD MEDAL: 3 scores from Level 3 along with 3 scores from Level 4
- PLATINUM: 6 scores from Level 5
Pay via PayPal using the registration form below. Please note that you do not need to register until you have achieved your six qualifying scores. You will then submit your six qualifying scores all at once to WDAGAhighpoint@gmail.com
