New for 2021: WDAGA High Point Virtual Show Awards

Exciting news! To better meet the needs of our members, WDAGA has added a High Point Virtual Show Awards Program in 2021. This new high point program is for virtual shows only and will be held separately from WDAGA’s High Point Awards Live (In-Person) Show Awards Program. You’ll find the registration and payment form via PayPal for the High Point Virtual Show Awards Program below.

Eligibility

  1. The rider must be a WDAA and WDAGA member.  Judges must be ‘r’ or ‘R’ WDAA judges. All awards will be based on a Horse/Rider combination meeting eligibility requirements. Horse/Rider Combination for levels Intro – Level 4 must receive 8 scores from two different judges. In Freestyle/Costume, you need a minimum of 1 score.
  2. A Horse/Rider combination can choose from two consecutive levels per show season. For example, you can choose Intro and Basic but not Intro and Level 1.
  3. Awards will be presented in the following categories: Virtual Online Open, Virtual Online Adult Amateur, and Virtual Online Junior/Youth rider.
  4. Each score can only be used one time. A score cannot be used for multiple categories. For example, if you show at a show that does not separate categories and you have signed up for Amateur and Open year-end awards, you will need to declare which category you want that score to go towards. Each test score can only be used one time. A score cannot be used in multiple categories.
  5. WDAGA Virtual Online Awards are based on percentage scores and not placings in class. Award results will be tabulated by taking the average of the top 8 scores for the year, Intro through Level 4.
  6. The Online Virtual Awards year will run from November 1, 2020, to October 31, 2021. You can enter the High Point Virtual Program anytime prior to November 1, 2121, but only tests ridden after you register and pay to be in the program will count toward year-end calculations.
  7. EXCEPTION: You can submit scores earned in qualifying shows from November and December of 2020 as long as you were a WDAGA Member in good standing.
  8. The virtual online show does not have to originate in Georgia.
  9. All Virtual Online score sheets must be turned in within 30 days of show date (SEE 7. EXCEPTION ABOVE) with the judge’s signature, name and date of show, and the score to WDAGA High Point Chairperson Betsy Rengifo, or emailed to wdagahighpoint@hotmail.com
  10. All scores must be turned in by November 1, 2021. The year-end awards banquet will be held in January 2022.
