New WDAA World Show Awards and Prize List Announced

WDAA announced two new awards that are being given at the World Show this year. The “Silver Spur Award” was suggested to WDAA by WDAGA High Point Chairperson Kim Depp. It’s an award given to the oldest combined team of horse and rider (horse’s age plus rider’s age). Imagine a 65-year-old rider with a 20-year-old horse!

The “GreenHorn Award” was suggested by WDAGA Vice President Tami Steinbrecher. It’s an award given to the highest scoring first time World Show exhibitor. Both horse and rider must be first-timers at the World Show.

We are so proud of our members for creating these exciting awards but also proud of WDAA for being open to suggestions and adding new things to help further our discipline!
